A hand-engraved charm, reading "I would cry for you", threaded on vintage sterling silver foxtail chain with freshwater Keshi Pearls, all in sterling silver with 14K gold filled details (handmade paperclip chain has been oxidised and features a hand-fabricated clasp).

A Japanese word also meaning "poppy" ケシ keshi pearls embody the power of the moon, encouraging positive thinking & giving stability in terms of decision making.

Unique and unpredictable, perfectly imperfect, made, textured & polished by hand, each and every offering has been energised by moonlight & quenched in local stream water.

Keshi Pearls form without a nucleus, so each shape is completely unique like an ocean snowflake.
Pearls maintain their lustre from regular wear and handling, but to preserve the life of your pearl, remove from your body when swimming or showering in chlorinated water. Store in its soft pouch away from heat or sunlight.

Oxidised sterling silver is a process by which the patina of the precious metal is sped up creating a darkened surface layer, which over time with regular use, will gradually polish away. The wabi-sabi aesthetic of being worn over time is beautiful to witness.
